In the near future, in fact, we want to aim at being <strong>the first railway shunting company to experiment alternative energy locomotives<\/strong>, an initiative in line with the European \u201cGreen Deal\u201d which wants \u201cdrastically less polluting transport\u201d by 2025.<br>Specifically, the interest is to convert some of our shunting vehicles <strong>from diesel to LNG<\/strong> (Liquid Natural Gas), thus reducing CO2 emissions by 20% and completely eliminating other pollutants (Nox and PM).<br>The next step towards complete decarbonisation will be the experimentation of <strong>hydrogen-powered<\/strong> line locomotives, the \u201ckeystone\u201d in the challenge to <strong>the energy transition<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Energetic Transition In order to make the objectives of reducing air pollution and, therefore, more generally, respect for the environment truly concrete, Adriafer is committing itself to the direction of a progressive reduction of polluting emissions.
